OPTIONAL SUMMER READING LIST FOR AP US HISTORY
Below is a list of books covering different topics in American History. It would be a good idea to read some of these this summer to help prepare you for the content of the AP US History class you have signed up for. For an additional bonus to the knowledge, you will find a Book Review format on netSchool in the Summer Assignment folder. You may turn in one book review each 6 weeks for an additional grade. Please note that this could have an extremely positive effect on your grade and that it CANNOT hurt your grade. It will only count if it improves your grade. If you come across another title that you would like to use instead please see me for approval.
