Dear Reader,

The human soul is susceptible to aesthetics. Aesthetics is synonymous of beauty. On earth, beauty is expressed by lines, forms, colors and sounds. The sculptor desires his creations to show beautiful lines and forms — also the architect. The painter desires harmony in lines and colors. The ballet master wants to demonstrate aesthetic lines and movements in groups of people, the musician harmony and euphony in tunes and sounds, the athlete expresses lines and forms in his lithe movements and performances. All these are aesthetics in the widest meaning of this word. A person who tries to develop his soul by the study of lines, forms, colors or tunes, has chosen a great task. A person, who tries to develop his muscles, has also chosen a task but one more personal and important for the body, but not so much for the spirit. There are many ways. for people to express aesthetics, one is more worldly and human, the other more spiritual. If a person tries to build up in order to strengthen and develop his physical body, it is human and nobody could hold anything against it. If a woman tries to develop her figure for reasons of beauty, it is also human. If she arranged leaves and flowers to decorate her rooms, it shows that her aesthetic feelings go further than to care for her own appearance. But if a woman mutilates nature by changing her outward appearance, quite different to what she has received from her Creator, that is not aesthetic — all mutilated naturalness leads to decline and ruin. The physical appearance of a person is the mark of his innermost qualities. Transform your looks, lengthen your chin, extend your mouth, shave off your brows and paint them higher on your forehead, tint your hair a different colour — you thus mutilate yourself, your personality and you are not yourself. You act a lie—disgrace yourself and violate nature, soil and besmirch her. Your whole outlook is deteriorated and made untrue to your origin; you also deny your parents and your descent. Sooner or later, a woman who thus falsifies herself, will repent and return to reality, because eventually she will realise that her behavior was in no way the cultivation of beauty, nor aesthetic. A man, who also changes and effeminates himself, will suffer a similar fate. Such contradictions are peculiar to all types of art. Is this still art? When sculptures are fashioned from iron wire or iron rods to express a thought? A thought nobody is able to understand? Is this art, to put discordant colors pell-mell together? To draw lines even in an unaesthetic manner and nothing in the whole "ensemble" will appear anything like art? Is this still aesthetic, if jarring sounds of instruments irritate the nerves and bring people to desperation? Is it aesthetic when a dance shows obscene movements to the noise of blaring, primitive music? Where is the time when sculptors, musicians, artists, created works of beauty in conformity with nature and with all of creation? which, even if done in a symbolic manner are understood by the public? Where is the time when music was calm and harmonious and brought peace and exaltation to man's soul — where graceful minuets were danced? Where is the time when creations of art had an underlying mystic meaning and were dedicated to the Creator and the Whole of Creation? Must we now conclude that the world is declining? That the human being is no more touched by aesthetics? That man has turned back to the primitive state of his origin? Must man then sink deeper and deeper in baseness and vulgarity? Do not wonder about it — the end of the earth is on its way and even closer than you may expect. Fortunately, a sincere aesthetic feeling is still alive in elite artists — and also in the elite public who are able to understand and appreciate beauty and art. Pray God that the c??? will endure and even expand. He, who is not susceptible to beauty, is not susceptible to wisdom either ,and — as such, unable to understand the Laws of God and therefore cannot advance to enjoying Eternal Bliss. Pray. pray much and pray with your heart and soul that many of those, who are as yet not susceptible to beauty, may be enlightened, find deliverance from earthly bondage and be saved. Nothing is more helpful to people than to develop their sense of beauty. Sense of beauty is a spiritual state. Sensitiveness is part of the soul and sensitiveness for beauty as well. On earth today, more importance is given to development of the body than to development of the spirit. To develop the sense for beauty and aesthetics is the road to spiritual development. There was a time when devotion to develop the spirit was more evident than to develop the body. A healthy body must be inhabited by an indwelling healthy spirit. Barbarous art has developed, people have a barbarous disposition and there is little desire for true aesthetic instructions. It is high time now to reform the ways of teaching — not according to the state of modem youth, but to the Laws of Creation. The modern school must take leadership and guidance if its desires to remain stable. Thoughtless youth, immature people, must not be dictators of teaching. Present-day youth will later take the leading but right now they have to learn obedience and submission. People in responsible positions, who never learned to be obedient and submissive to the Laws of Creation and the laws of their country, will never be efficient leaders. The spirit who never learned submission to God can never be God's chosen child. Aesthetics is the path to greatness of mind. Revive, therefore, the feeling for beauty and try to avoid all degenerate art. Leave primitive art to the primitives, because the more evolved spirits reject this type of art. Develop the sense of beauty in those who are the youth of today, for they will be the leaders of tomorrow. It is not desirable that the body of a person should show aesthetic forms and perform acts of training, without the spirit being developed simultaneously. Let a sense of beauty and aesthetics permeate the younger generation — beauty in line and form, colour and sound — when the earth will advance to a better future. To what avail is a temporal body, trained and beautiful, if the eternal spirit is underdeveloped and without perception? This is like a body with insufficient organs — a clock without a spring — something unfinished and imperfect; not prepared for the ascension after death to higher spheres — but is like the prodigal son, who desires to return home but loses the way. A sense for aesthetics is a spiritual asset. Cultivate this desire for the wellbeing of your soul and for your salvation in the beyond.

AMEN.
Dear Reader,

You have meanwhile gained the conviction that this earth is a planet for atonement, where spirits are given opportunity to cleanse and ascend to other planets where suffering will be no more necessary, and the body in which they dwell will be less material than are bodies here on earth — but more fluidic. Spirits reincarnate on earth, in a human body of flesh and blood, to undergo purification. The body is earthly and is continually attracted by worldly things. The spirit belongs to the cosmos and feels connected with the universe and with spiritual things. That means there is duality of spirit and body. If the evolution of the spirit is low, it is more attached to the physical body, it enjoys worldly pleasures and possessions and harbours many vices and shortcomings. But the more experiences this reincarnated spirit gains, the more will it realise that there is great suffering on earth and few blessings. Through physical and mental suffering the soul will be affected and, as a result of this suffering, this soul will be capable to feel the sufferings of others — its fellow beings. Struggle, sorrow and pain change the human spirit into a soldier, who is continually on duty to fight and overcome earthly difficulties. He will use, for his defense. spiritual arms, for he is unable to remove the evil with earthly ones. These arms will be: courage, firmness, love, perseverance and fidelity. Man is spirit and his weapons, therefore, are spiritual. This gives him the understanding of responsibility. He will realise the Divine Cosmic Laws to which he has to submit — to practice and cultivate them. Practice and cultivate goodness and avoid evil — repay hate with love and convert depravities into virtues! As a human spirit succeeds, he gains great evolution. He will be able to end the pretensions of his body and to dissolve the groans of his soul. In previous reincarnations on earth the body was the master and the spirit followed its whims and dissipations. The body desired ease and leisure — it was granted. The body desired luxury, pride, ambition — it was realised. The body craved debauchery and enjoyment—and obtained it. It gave in to all these physical caprices and enjoyed doing so. Sorrow, grief and struggle came, even his surroundings made life difficult. He feels like a ship on the wild seas — a ship without helm, bobbing up and down the waves, having lost its course — not knowing where it is, only scanning the horizon for land, only watching for another ship passing. He sees dunes and rocks where his craft might be wrecked, there is thunder and lightning which may set his ship on fire. In such ways the reincarnated spirits bob along in the seas of life. Every human spirit has to undergo these experiences, and as he climbs the steps of the ladder of evolution, he becomes more sensitive to the consequences of struggles and the sufferings of his soul. The physical body remains earthly, but after adequate experiences the spirit will rule. The body, feeling its task finished, complies — all temptations vanish. The body is no longer necessary, the spirit has gained its liberation. It finds peace in the infinite cosmos and is now able to visualize the chain of its reincar- nations as human being. All spirits, which caused it joy or sorrow in its former lives, will pass its vision — some of them advanced — others sunk deep into the slough of sin and vice. The spirit cannot help to feel compassion for those who were its enemies on earth and caused it great trouble and sorrow. It is unable to hate them, because its own sufferings (as a result of the ills done to it) speeded its cleansing and evolution. And it would be thankful to the Lord God if it were allowed to help them through love and wisdom. This spirit will see the evil it did to other reincarnated spirits and be able to conceive of sorrows it caused them and recognize the difficulties and troubles it had to suffer as consequence. Now it understands all too well. Human bodies belong to the earth — the spirit which lives in them comes from God, and — after being fully cleansed and purified — returns to God. It under- stands that reincarnation is necessary, that physical and psychical trouble and grief, and other difficulties during the life of human beings, are the shortest road to purification, upliftment, evolution and eternity. The road to Eternity can be long. difficult and painful. Troubles and sufferings are involved, but those, who endure, will be victorious. Those, who refuse endurance, who cling to the cravings of their earthly bodies, work their own annihilation. Body and spirit, earth and cosmos, will have to part some day, as will the good spirits part from the evil ones. The clash between good and evil, heaven and earth, body and spirit, will lead to a catastrophe and ultimately to the end of this world. But the human spirit, who did good in consecutive reincarnations — the blessed one — will be raised. No more darkness for it — and Wisdom and Love shall be the Law of the Universe.

AMEN.
Dear Reader,

Among the prophets and philosophers who have lived on earth are many, who said: "You know yourself only to that degree which your grade of cleansing and evolution permits you to understand. You know at best only what you are now, but nothing about what you might become in later years." The human spirit reincarnates in a human body for cleansing and to compensate through suffering and difficulties for his faults, mistakes and vices of former lives. In each reincarnation the human spirit is more able to understand himself. In each successive life as a human being he gains more experience. He rises, loses some of his depravities and embraces new virtues through suffering. Through these changes is he able — in each new life — to gain a clearer knowledge of himself. It follows that every good incarnation results in a higher grade of evolution because he advances to the better. What is the meaning of: "to the better"? It means that the spirit — either in the human body or already as discarnated spirit — is determined to resist doing certain evils which he committed in former lives and do certain good deeds which he omitted in previous lives. He was in those lives a great egoist and materialist; in this life he is unable to hate his enemies, even feels compassion for them; he does not wish evil or revenge to those who wronged him; he wants to love his neighbors, notwithstanding any wrong which some of them caused him. Few people are conscious of the fact that they are base — some only know this of themselves. The more primitive a person is, the less he is able to realise that there are people better than himself, or that he be able to progress. He sees everything from the material, nothing whatsoever from the spiritual side. He notices other peoples material wellbeing and therefore is envious. He does not reason, but only desires that which belongs to another. So he tries by all means to get his aim: by burglary, theft, even murder, if need be. He feels no qualms about his evil doings. Should he be punished for his wrongdoings, he hates those who punished him, and will try to avenge himself, should he get an opportunity. Then he does another bad deed and the former one is repeated. This state of affairs carries on until he feels pain of body and soul: a new condition is reached and those experiences will enable him to feel sensations which hitherto he has not known. After several new reincarnations he will realise these feelings. He will then be able to feel remorse, or perhaps a feeling, not actually remorse, but close to it — a kind of unsure feeling; a seeking of something inexplicable. He now turns a new leaf, he feels genuine remorse and this feeling will become more and more established in him. His life as a human being brought him much suffering and great experience. He has learned to understand that there is a law which protects him against lower, less evolved people, who will be malicious towards him. But as yet he does not realise that he did the same to others in his previous lives. There are still many whom he is not able to understand who have different theories about life, which he as yet is not able to follow; but his feelings of hate have abated much and he does not wish anymore to revenge himself. In his primitive lives he did not have much love for anybody — fright and terror were unknown to him — he had no remorse for his evil deeds. Everything to him was simple and natural. He was well accommodated in his life, just as an animal, unbeknown of his conditions. In later incarnations he discovered new spheres of life, new spheres of life on earth. The more his spirit developed, the more he meets people who do not understand what he now comprehends. His sphere of life will, according to the number of his reincarnations, enlarge and become more important. If he studies his higher sphere and the lower, he will be able to understand himself better. He will be able, when advanced enough through purification and cleansing, to recognize the two great spheres: the sphere of the incorrigibles and the sphere of evolution. In both spheres is a fair amount of subdivisions. The spirits in the sphere of the incorrigibles sink ever deeper and deeper into the quagmire. In the sphere of evolution, the spirits cultivate love and goodness and proceed ever closer and closer to the Light of God. The one finds satisfaction by doing evil, the other finds his goal by becoming more advanced. The one always seeks new vices, the other new virtues. One will not understand his true destination during his life on earth; he adjusts himself submissively to his circumstances. Back again in the spirit world, in the Cosmos, he realises his condition. He is so deeply established in the muddle of luxury and thirst for pleasure, that there is hardly a way out for him. He sinks deeper and deeper during each life on earth. The other is so remote from worldly affairs and so deeply steeped in the cosmic and spiritual that he — when he passes from earth life into the cosmos — will feel lighter and easier until he is completely purified and advanced enough to live in Eternal Bliss in the Light of the Godhead. Prophets and philosophers have called this: the battle between good and evil. This conflict is no imagination. It is carried on inexorably by the people on earth, but also by the invisible spirits moving around the earth. All on earth, who lead a worthy life, feel the surrounding evil. There is hardly a family where there is not at least one member (visible or invisible) who harbours wrong and who will disturb the others and make the lives of his next of kin disagreeable, even unbearable. There is no place on earth where (he radiation of evil is not felt. Primitive, unreflecting people are driven as wild animals to serve this evil. About 3000 years ago, unarmed and peace loving nations were overrun by foreign nations, partly destroyed or partly driven away as slaves. Faithful servants of God murdered and their belongings burnt. Desperate victims ask: "Our Father in Heaven, why have You forsaken us?" Oh! no. God has not forsaken them. Know, that the evil spirits are temporary, but the Lord God is Eternal! The death of (lie human body is not the death of the spirit — the Spirit of Truth, sustained by the innumerable multitude of purified spirits, is close. As they pass over into the spiritworld, the good spirits will proceed to their plane of evolution, where the fiend cannot reach them. The evil spirits, the incorrigibles, which will not see the Light of God, remain outside the doors of God's Court of Judgement, to await their ordeal. All human spirits of good intentions will be saved. Two ways are open to mankind: the one is broad, offers much pleasure and amusement, debauchery and base enjoyments; the other is narrow with many thorns and obstacles along the path. God's Judgement waits at the end of the path of pleasure. People of this road will have to pay for all their excesses and evil, done by evil spirits to good spirits. At the end of the narrow, rugged path is the Heavenly Paradise — the Pleasure of Eternity, where those who chose this path will see the Light of Our Father in Heaven, and will live therein. There — after all — will the spirit be able to fully understand itself. You, who read this, choose carefully — the time is short and soon it might be too late for choosing.

AMEN.
Dear Reader,

Many people are looking for Truth, many people try to live a good life, but only a very few seek Wisdom. Is wisdom concealed in the individuality? In revealing of truth about the own ego? Or the own past or the own future? In all occult concerns is order and discipline. Nothing on earth is as correctly timed to order and regularity as those concerning the Cosmos, the Creation and the Spirit of Man. Nothing on earth is perfect, because life on this planet is the road to cleansing and advancement. People look for the shortest road. They want to find truth and gain wisdom without treading the long and wearisome path of reincarnation of gradual purification and advancement. People generally look for paths leading to short-lived personal advantage. But the spirit reflects this life, even in their short life on earth. A person who wants to climb the social ladder has to attend many schools — from nursery to university. Gradually his brain will absorb more and more science, art and knowledge. He ha? to undergo many tests — after each term there is an examination. After primary school he receives a certificate disclosing his progress. This certificate permits him entrance to High School. Primary school taught him many things — High school proceeds with the same subjects, then he also learns the reason "why". At University he will gain much universal knowledge and instructive special subjects which authorizes him to take a leading part in his profession and become a "specialist". Could you imagine that a boy could go from a primary school directly to University without first absolving High School? No! You cannot. By realising this fact, you will understand that a spirit, which incarnates for the first time in a human body on earth, will not be able to overcome all its primitively in only one such incarnation — it will not even acquire a clear realization of the process of evolution. Could you assume that only one life is sufficient to get all the experiences necessary for full purification? Could you assume that in only one life on earth in a human body the spirit will be able to shed all depravity and climb to the highest rung of purification and evolution? If you assume all this, you may assume as well that a person, who was evil all his life and died without remorse, and another person, who loved God, who sacrificed much to help his fellow- beings, will meet each other and live together in Eternal Bliss in the Universe. This does not conform to the Divine Law and is therefore an Untruth. Each life passed on earth in the human body is for the spirit equal to a year of school-attendance for a human person. A human spirit will be reborn in a human being many times, and in each of these incarnations he will gain experiences, acquire a little wisdom and learn something of the "Big Book of Wisdom". In each reincarnation he will discard some of the things which made him unhappy: some evil, a sin or malice. In this way — though slowly — will he become susceptible to love, goodness, compassion and other virtues. Lastly he will achieve to put the wellbeing and welfare of his fellow-beings and of humanity before his own personal welfare. He acquires a deep understanding — even his own convictions included. All beings are his brothers and sisters. He has respect for all religions and creeds — realises that every church, in its own way leads to the Divine Father. All egoism and arrogance is done away with. Without his knowing it, he possesses the "Stone of Wisdom" as an Invisible Light, which illuminates his lamp of life. The human spirit, having improved thus high, has no right to be proud or think he has achieved this result in only one lifetime — his first incarnation on earth. He has lived through many reincarnations, suffered much pain of body, soul and spirit, gained much experience, fought many a battle — some lost, some victorious. And his vibrations became finer, his Aura more clear, until the "Light of Eternity" burnt on the altar of his soul. Dear Readers, all of you bear this "Light of Eternity" in your hearts. This Light is the certificate of the highest spiritual studies which is granted you. Each is able to reach this high distinction. Nobody may pass from the lowest grade directly to the highest grade in the school of life — everything develops gradually. However, there has to be the will and perseverance. These Spiritualistic Teachings are the Highest Teachings in the spiritual school. There are higher powers from the Cosmos which instigate you to study the Philosophy of Spiritualism to find therein the "Stone of Wisdom". Perhaps you are doing your last reincarnation on earth and comply with the Messages of this book in order to prepare yourself to enter the Universe for all Eternity. These messages are for you — to help you to make your life on earth and the passing over into the universe easier, after the death of your human body — they shall be a redemption for you, and imply "Eternal Spiritual Bliss".

AMEN.
Dear Reader,

Have you ever considered the question why some people have to die a slow death, whilst others die suddenly? If you think about it, you will come to the conclusion that in the process of passing over people have to undergo either spiritual or physical suffering. Some people have, in their last sickness, to undergo much physical pain, resulting from diseased organs or an unsuccessful operation, etc. Other people's sufferings — and these are the greater part—are more mental or spiritual. Spiritual suffering results from grief and afflictions which make them disheartened and inactive. A man who is sickly for a long while ponders about the time that passes without his being able to work — how his savings will shrink for the need of medicine and for doctors' accounts. He observes how carefully his wife tries to limit her housekeeping expenses to be able to help him to recover. He notices how very often she does not get sufficient sleep because he needs her support and her assistance during the night. Then he starts to wonder and to brood whether she will be able to keep this up, or whether she perhaps will break down through exhaustion and will have to take to her bed too. He thinks about the future and the fate of his family. These conditions are the source of much mental suffering. And what about a woman, a mother, who has to stay in bed for a long time? A mother, suffering from a long-lasting illness? How much will her soul suffer because she is unable to do her work? Who looks after her husband and children? Are they well looked after? What about all the many small things which only a mother will notice and put right? She will feel quite hopeless about it all. How hard for her to let somebody else do the housekeeping. The nearer she comes to the end of her life, the more she anguishes, but then — how much closer is she to her release. How different are these conditions from those of a person whose life comes to a sudden end! Many people are called unexpectedly. They perish from a sudden shock and seemingly all is over — only the relatives are left with their sorrow, their unanticipated struggle and the uneasiness of how to carry on. Everybody understands such circumstances, but most people see it only from a human point of view. A long lasting disease includes much mental suffering, much grief and sorrow for the sick person, apart from the physical pain. But once he is dead, there is suffering only for those who are left behind and the passing over is actually a relief for the family, who gave the patient so many tokens of love and care. For the family and the relatives of those who passed away unexpectedly, the bereavement is a deep shock. Nobody was prepared for it, and the sudden death brings many problems for those who are left behind. Generally people consider only the body of a deceased and they think of themselves who are left behind, only as physical beings, who are burdened with all those problems. They feel their own struggle, their own grief, their own troubles, and do not realise that they live under spiritual conditions, although with material cares. They never ponder either in what spiritual conditions the deceased now finds himself — because hardly anybody realises that death does not exist. Many of those who are left behind will feel the deceased around and close. They talk to his spirit and feel a great comfort as long as they feel this presence. It may also happen that they feel and understand its counsel (as a voice within themselves) and listen to it willingly. They follow its wishes — just as if the living person were still around. A person then might ask himself: Why has this deceased had to suffer such a long-lasting disease with so much pain and suffering? Or else: Why had he to die so suddenly, without any sickness, without farewell, without a last kiss? Even-thing has its cause and its consequence. If a person would see his own life more from the spiritual point of view and less from only the material aspect, he would receive many answers to his questions. Then he has to accept the fact — the truth — that he and everyone else is a spirit who belongs to the eternal cosmos and has to return thither, that the human body is built of physical matter and has to accept the truth that every spirit, which is born in a human body, comes back to earth, to atone for evil previously done — and that it has to return and be reborn until it is entirely cleansed, until all its shortcomings, its low tendencies are balanced and it is filled with wisdom, love and compassion and is worthy to live in the Light of God. Why has a reincarnated spirit to suffer on earth, even if he, as a human being, leads a model life? Why has one to suffer early in life — the other in later years? Suffering is a process of spiritual purification. It is the price which a spirit has to pay for trespassing in previous lives of lower evolutions. It is the only way, the only payment with which to outbalance these shortcomings. Therefore, suffering is a spiritual process which a person has to endure during his life on earth. Everyone has, in fact, asked for the type of his suffering before each existing reincarnation. It is a fact that a person, by suffering, usually does not know about his actual standing; it is also a fact that some of them get rebellious on account of this suffering, by which rebellion they actually only intensify their suffering. He, who submits humbly to the suffering, for which he himself has asked, submits at the same time to the Karmic Laws which are the Laws of Purification, Evolution and Liberation. Are you able to understand that a person is born on earth according to plans which he himself has made before his reincarnation in a human body? That nobody and nothing is able to change the type of this life because the aim of the Law of Karma — as willed by its Creator — is: To purify as spirit and thus to rise to always higher spheres in the spiritworld? How imprudent would it be to assume that the Creator should introduce Laws which would not be of advantage to His Children — and that He should permit His Children to undergo so much suffering without there being a reason and a consequence connected with it? All suffering has its cause and out of each suffering and hardship results an effect which has a certain influence and a certain result for the spirit involved. In the actions and conduct of human beings on earth is much less order, discipline and regularity than in those of the spiritworld. The Lord of Karma, who controls the Karmic Laws, takes care that, by His Influence, nobody who is of "good will" may suffer a Karma that is harder than that which he has asked for, or which he is able to bear. What He will do is: be careful to ease the burden which reincarnated spirits have to bear. He gives His reincarnated spirits not only the suffering for which they have asked to achieve their purification and rising, but He gives them also the courage, the strength to endure and the self-confidence, all of which ease the burden and help them to "carry their cross through their lives". Still, uninitiated people will always ask questions about the reason for their suffering, but hardly ever will someone ask about its effects. If everyone would consider those effects, mankind would be much happier on earth. Even among "seekers for truth" we will find people, unable to understand the reason for their suffering. The reason for this lack of understanding is that, in their conduct and their actions, is still much leaning towards worldly affairs and not sufficient for spiritual shaping. They want to use their mediumistic gifts chiefly for worldly interests and far less for spiritual development, for purification and liberation. Development of mediumistic gifts must be coupled with development of virtues, discarding of shortcomings and the quest for wisdom. How will a medium manage to show his fellow-beings or uninitiated people the road to purification and liberation, whilst he himself has not collected sufficient wisdom, whilst he himself has still so many worldly and physical desires which he wants to realise? As long as he still despises and hates his fellow-men? It is indeed an arduous task to shed all ones shortcomings. Nobody can achieve this in only one incarnation in a human body. One cannot switch over directly from black to white, in between are many tints and shades. The switch-over can only be achieved gradually. But to hasten this process, spirits — before their reincarnation — ask for spiritual and physical sufferings. Suffering leads to better understanding. It also teaches people to understand the sufferings and sorrows of other people. It gives them the feeling of brotherhood and union between suffering mankind. People, who have not suffered much, are inclined to be hard and unfeeling towards their fellow-beings. But once they have themselves experienced suffering, they feel quite different. They feel pity and try to help others, try to relieve and ease their burden. This action is already a deed of charity — to forgive ones enemies is a deed of compassion. You may conclude from all these considerations that suffering has a double aim: firstly, atonement for former shortcomings, even such from previous reincarnations in different human bodies; and secondly, to advance as human beings and to develop love for ones neighbors. Yes! The aim of suffering is of two kinds, and the ultimate conclusion is: suffering, either spiritual or physical, arouses feelings of brotherhood, of love for ones fellow-men. charity and compassion — all of which lead to spiritual purification, evolution and liberation. It is a good thing for a person to ask himself: What is the use of suffering? Why have some people to suffer in early youth and others late in life? Nobody leaves this earth unless he has achieved to experience all the sorrows and sufferings for which he has asked. The Lord of Karma watches that nobody will escape. Reincarnation without suffering is delay of evolution and liberation. Each spirit, which reincarnates, plays its part, fulfills its spiritual mission on earth and, as long as it has not reached purification, will be reborn again and again. Ultimately — after having reached its aim — the spirit will live in the Light of God and only return to earth as a Light to help to destroy the darkness.

AMEN.
