Up Your Smart Board Splitter
Step 1 – Take the USB cord and the monitor cord from the Smart Board and take it to the back of your computer and the splitter box.
Step 2 - Plug the USB cord into the back of the computer’s CPU.
Step 3 – Plug the monitor cord from the Smart Board into the middle monitor port on the back of the splitter box.
Step 4 –
When hooking up monitor cords
, make sure the screws are secured tightly.
Step 5 – Unplug the existing monitor cord from the back of the CPU. This will cause your computer screen to go blank.
Step 6 – Plug the cord you just disconnected off of the CPU into the monitor slot on the right side of the splitter box.
Step 7 – Take the black PC cord that came with the splitter, and plug it into the last
remaining slot on the left
, which is the PC slot.
Step 8 – Plug the other end of that cord into the back of the PC where you previously disconnected the monitor cord. It should be a blue port.
Congratulations, your Smart Board is now up and running!
