The shoot for next month will be one week later. January 1&2, 2011 because everyone will be home have a very, merry, merry Christmas.
If you come out to the range on Sat, 1/1/11 and the gate is locked (SVSC is closed on that day), call 916 212-7579 and let us know you are there. We will come and unlock the gate and let you in. The gate should be open, but you know = Murphy’s Law.
Saturday, January 1, 2011.
We will be having our world famous Christmas/New Years Potluck and gift exchange.
If you want to join us, bring a yummy potluck dish and a non gender specific $10.00 - $15.00 wrapped gift.
We’ll eat, drink and be merry, then steal gifts from each other.
It’s fun, you never know what you’ll wind up with.
Change in monthly shooting fees.
Due to the fact that FSML is not a very large club and this year many members became Lifetime Members and do not have to pay yearly membership dues, the general membership voted and agreed to change the fees for shooting from $5.00 per shoot to $10.00 per shoot. Non members of FSML will pay $15.00 per shoot.
$5.00 of this fee goes to Folsom Shooting Club for their daily range fee and $5.00 will stay with Fort Sutter to help pay for expenses like insurance, targets and newsletter costs.
This new fee will start on January, 1, 2011.
As of today, our assets are:
Time Deposit Savings: $5360.12
I am going to transfer $500.00 from the Time Deposit to the Checking account just in case we have any unexpected expenses until the checking account has time to build up from our increased shooting fees.
A reminder to all: Since there have been no new officers elected recently, I want to remind everyone that the Board of Directors are: Mike Brady, Kevin Breckenridge and Tom Rohde.
“And the Grinch, with his Grinch-feet ice cold in the snow, stood puzzling and puzzling, how could it be so? It came without ribbons. It came without tags. It came without packages, boxes or bags. And he puzzled and puzzled 'till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. What if Christmas, he thought, doesn't come from a store? What if Christmas, perhaps, means a little bit more?”
Merry Christmas to All ! ! !
