The Constitution protects the people and provides the federal government and states with balanced share of power.



  • describe the contributions and roles of major individuals, including George Washington, James Madison, and Benjamin Franklin (e.g., George Washington questioned the effectiveness of Articles of Confederation, i.e., Articles of Confederation were rewritten by the Constitutional Convention
