1. Hitler secretly trained the Luftwaffe (air force) in Italy.
2. The Allies used military force against Germany when Germany rearmed the Rhineland and annexed Austria.

11. Due to the use of radar and the Germans switching to bombing civilian targets, the Germans won the Battle of Britain.
12. The main British fighter plane was the ME 109 and the main German fighter plane was the Spitfire.
