Use the Internet in class to complete the following assignment.


Choose an important person, from the list provided, someone who has had an influence on today’s society or your own personal life. You must find information on this person using the Internet. Remember, to help your search, use a search engine and Digital Library. You may NOT print out any information, but TAKE NOTES from the web site!!

You must have a cover page, which includes your title and should be centered. Your name, class, period, and date must be in the bottom right-hand corner. Include one clipart or a picture from the web below your title.
Your report must be a minimum of 5 paragraphs, with an introduction and conclusion, double-spaced, font size 12, Times New Roman. Be sure to include in your report some background information about the person’s life, family, education, etc. But most important, include why this person is so important. In your conclusion answer the question: How has this person influenced my life and/or the lives of others?
Please list the web sites (works cited page) in MLA format and any other resources used to complete this assignment as your last page. Minimum 3 web sites must be used. No works cited page or not formatted correctly, I will not accept your paper. It is an “F”. This paper is worth 300 points
