Benjamin Franklin was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States and in many ways was "the First American"; Franklin was a leading author, printer, political theorist, politician, postmaster, scientist, inventor, civic activist, statesman, and diplomat.

Project Directions: Due Date: 1/26/15

  • On the first side of your poster (standard size) you are going to research Ben Franklin’s scientific inventions. http://www.ushistory.org/franklin/info/inventions.htm. Choose 5 of his best inventions and illustrate them or print a picture of the inventions. You must also write a paragraph on each of these inventions. Be sure to tell what it is and the uses for it. This grade will count for Science.

  • Please be sure to document his early life, life as a prominent citizen, public service, later years. success and failures and death.
