Atomic Bomb Research Paper Guidelines and Expectations

You will be writing a 3-5 page paper on the following topic:



Was the U.S. justified in dropping the atomic bombs on Japan during World War II?

Your writing will be intelligent, coherent, and your own original work. It it must include a Works Cited page that includes at least 3 different resources, which does NOT include the textbook, Wikipedia, Answers.com, or any website that has random people offering their analysis and opinion. In other words, your sources must be legitimate, reliable, and academic in nature.



The Essay Prep Handout Form will be due to turnitin.com on Sunday, March 8th by 11:59pm to the Revision upload option.

This final submission of the paper will be due to turnitin.com by Monday, March 16th by 8:00am. Any paper that is turned in after this time will result in a lower grade. Plagiarism or improper documentation of your sources will result in an INCREDIBLY lowered grade.
