  • Explain the meaning of each song.

  • Analyze the 2 pieces.

  • Determine the overall intention of the artist and the bias for each.

Find 2 letters to the editor or newspaper article from the Revolutionary period.

  • One should be written from the perspective of a patriot and one from a loyalist or British soldier.

  • Determine the bias of each article.

  • Explain the purpose of each article.

Create a timeline of the causes of the American Revolution.


  • Explain each cause fully.

  • This should be shown on a graphic organizer of your choice.

  • Include a brief description of the colonial reaction and/or the impact on the relationship between England and the colonists.
