THE CELEBRATIONS CONTINUE AT THE WTM JAMAICA STAND: RAISE A GLASS
TO 50 YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE FOR ‘A NATION ON A MISSION’
Agents and tour operators visiting the Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB)’s stand at World Travel Market 2012 have the opportunity to enjoy a cocktail reception and walk away with a limited edition poster in celebration of the Caribbean island’s 50th anniversary of independence.
Taking the theme ‘A Nation on a Mission’, the Jamaica stand will also offer a few surprises. Look out for celebrated sports stars who’ll be making an appearance following their successes in the sporting arena this year.
To mark 50 years of independence, and thank agents and operators for their year-round efforts in promoting Jamaica, JTB is hosting special trade receptions.
The Jamaica Tourist Board stand is at CA240 and will offer the following:
Destination Updates for Travel Agents
Every day, the JTB sales team will be providing one-to-one presentations for travel agents visiting the stand. This will allow agents the opportunity to learn about the destination’s latest news and developments, while also receiving immediate access to the online Jamaica Travel Specialist training programme.
Master Class in Rum Blending and Caribbeam Sunset Hour
JTB will be hosting a master class in rum blending on Wednesday 7 November from 2pm – 4pm. Agents can learn more about Jamaican rum and have the chance to mix their own unique, Jamaican spirit. The stand will also be host to Caribbean Sunset Hour from 5pm – 7pm, serving Independence Punch to visitors.
Jamaica 50th Anniversary Edition Posters
In celebration of Jamaica’s 50th anniversary of independence this year, JTB is giving away 50 special-edition posters to the first 50 agents visiting the stand. The posters includes iconic images of Jamaica and the celebrated Jamaica 50 logo.
